I'm changing some things about me and my lifestyle. I started on may 3rd.
I am doing this for my health and if in the long run I lose some weight that will be a benefit.
I have started using honey instead of sugar. No tea unless it's herbal tea like peppermint/spearment. No white sugar, bread, flour (except on rare occasions) when nothing else is available. Eating lots of yogurt, cottage cheese,salads and raw vegetables, with some baked potatoes (no butter) and lots of juices. Also I put lemon and honey in warm water, in the morning, cinnamon and honey in warm water at night and drink lots of peppermint tea.
There are a lot of benefits to using herbs and home remedies and I can see the effects of that already. It has been less than a week.
I have had no chest pains, heartburn, gas, stomach problems, or nausea, which I usually get every morning. So I'm thinking that something is working.
I have started ordering some things from Puritans Pride. They have lots of things I need and their prices are so reasonable.
I'm still writing in my journal, and did so just today. I didn't know if it would be something I would be really wanting to do , but I have found I enjoy writing in it. And I have also made sure that it is something my family could read , if something happens to me , as something they might enjoy reading when I'm gone. To know my thoughts and how I feel , about my faith and my prayers for them.
