Crock Pot BBQ Beef

Here is a tasty poor mans version of BBQ Beef. Where instead of something like Roast Beef you use ground beef. It is very delicious and adds a twist to your sandwiches.

Ingredients:

2 Pds. Ground beef
4 carrots (shedded)
2 stalks Celery (diced)
1 whole onion (diced or minced)
3 cloves of Garlic (chopped fine)
1 Tsp. parsley (jarred spice) or Fresh
1 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Pepper
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup white Vinegar
1 cup water
1/4 cup (firmly Packed) Brown Sugar

**NOTE** You can also use BBQ sauce instead of the vinegar, ketchup and brown sugar- Use 2-3 cups BBQ sauce, depending on your taste.

Directions:

In you crock pot, put your ground beef, onion and garlic. Cook completely - and Drain. Add the water and vegetables, parsley, salt and pepper. Stir till blended. Next add the ketchup, vinegar, and brown sugar.{or BBQ Sauce} Stir. Put the lid on and let go for 4 hours on high. {You can also put this on low for 8 hours} Meat is already cooked you just need to tenderize the veggies and let all the flavors blend together.

Serve on warm or toasted Buns. Great for Picnics, Family Reunions or get togethers of any kind. Enjoy!
