Easy mini Pot Pies

Easy Pot Pie Mini's- Individual pot pies that the kids create themselves.
This is so easy and fun for the kids too. A Healthy meal that everyone enjoys.
These are small ( as you will be using tart pans or mimi tart pans) so they may want 2 each.

Beef or Chicken Pot Pies
Ingredients:
•Already made (roll pie crust)
Each pie crust makes 2 individual pot pies.{1 box containing 2 crust - 4 pot pies}
(bottom layer and topper) 2 Servings
•1 pd ground beef or canned already cooked chicken
•1  pkg frozen mixed vegies (you will need at least 2 cups)
•2-3 jars of ready made gravy (beef or chicken-depending on what kind you are making)

Directions:
•(Parent) Preheat oven to 350 Degrees

• Let the older kids (do or help do this)
 In a skillet cook ground beef (if beef is used)
• In a small pot over low heat , simmer gravy
(When this is done have the kids put the beef and gravy into a stoneware (or heat safe mixing bowl to cool, & add mixed vegies.)
{with precooked chicken from a can-just add it to simmered gravy and heat then add to heat safe mixing bowl, add the mixed vegies & let cool}

Meanwhile have the younger kids
• unroll the pie crust and lay a drinking glass slightly bigger than the  tart pan on the crust to cut out {like with cookies}. Cut as many as needed for your family.
•Have the kids put the pie crust into the tart pans (bottoms only)

When meat , gravy & vegie mixture is cool enough for children to handle, have them use a measuring cup to fill tart pans.(Now depending on the size of your tart pans you can either use 1/2 or 1 cup of meat mixture to each pan.
Fill only 2/3 of the pan.
Now put the top part of the crust on and seal edges with a fork.

Place the tart pans on a cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. All ingredients are already either cooked or just need heated through. So this is all the time these beauties need.

(parent) Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and set out to cool. Serve warm. Enjoy
makes a wonderfully delicious meal that your kids can take pride in saying they made.
