Autumn French Toast with Pumpkin Recipe

I love Autumn. I love the smells that come with it. I love baking this time of year. So for a great tasting recipe that I just know you're going to love. You need to try this one. 


Autumn French Toast with Pumpkin Recipe

What you will need:
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp packed light-brown sugar
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
9 slices Texas toast or French bread (make sure it's a thicker bread)
Butter (for frying)

Instructions:
Preheat a non-stick skillet set over medium heat. In a mixing bowl whisk together milk, pumpkin puree, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined. Pour into a  dish.

Butter frying pan and dip bread into egg mixture coating each side well. Transfer to pan and cook until golden brown on both sides. 2-3 minutes each side. Serve warm with butter and your favorite syrup.
