Healthy Eating - Sweet Green Smoothie Recipe

Eating Healthy at Countrylife4me

Hello everyone. I have one again added more fruits and veggies to my diet. Like the two pictured here. The Kiwona Horned Melon and the Ecuador Red Banana. Both are very delicious. With very refreshing tastes.
I have also
added in some red pears, tangerine cuties , red potatoes, brown rice and spinach.
So I thought I'd share a recipe consisting of some of these foods.

Sweet Green Smoothie
Despite the ingredients and the look. This is really delicious! You don't even taste the spinach at all.

Ingredients:
1 red banana, peeled of course
1/2 cup either (blueberries/raspberries/blackberries)
1/8- 1/4 melon (about 3/4 cup) any will do. Cantaloupe, honeydew to name a few
1 red pear
6 strawberries
1 & 1/2 cup fresh spinach leaves
3/4 cup milk  (cream , half-n-half, or yogurt works well also and can make the smoothie creamier)
3-4 ice cubes

Instructions
Place all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth! If using a small blender you will want to halve the ingredients and blend. then if  you are able, add additional 1/2 ingredients as you go.

NOTE: You can freeze the banana, and berries if you prefer not to use ice in your smoothie.

Thanks for visiting. Have a great, healthy and blessed day! Love, Mary
