Coffee Break - The Holy Sabbath

Have you ever wondered why you worship on Sunday instead of the Sabbath (Saturday)? Who taught you this and why? Where'd they (you) learned it from? Have you ever questioned or looked it up?) Have you ever questioned their words or tested the scriptures?
Sunday was just another workday for the Roman Empire. On March 7, 321, however, Roman Emperor Constantine I issued a civil decree making Sunday a day of rest from all labor, stating that: All judges and people of the city and the craftsmen shall rest upon the venerable day of the sun.
God rid the Jews of the laws he had for them because it was impossible for them to keep them. But he never got rid of his commands. He never said to not worship on the Sabbath (Saturday) In fact he says to remember the Sabbath, to keep it Holy.
Christ said, "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill" (Matt. 5:17). To "fulfill" means to fill to the full. Jesus taught, to "fill full" with true spiritual meaning and understanding—quite the opposite of abolishing the commands of God.
For truly I say to you until the heaven and the earth shall pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no way pass from the Law until everything has been fulfilled" (Matt. 5:18). Heaven and earth still exist, therefore the commandments and prophetic writings of God are still binding.
The apostle John amplified Jesus' statement even more so, when he wrote, "The one who says, 'I know Him,' and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. I John 2:4-6

I am the Lord your God; follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Keep my Sabbaths holy, that they may be a sign between us. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.   Ezekiel 20:19-20

“If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath
and from doing as you please on my holy day,
if you call the Sabbath a delight
and the Lord’s holy day honorable,
and if you honor it by not going your own way
and not doing as you please or speaking idle words,
then you will find your joy in the Lord,
and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land
and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob.”
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

Isaiah 58:13-14
