Thank you all for praying for my son. He is home and doing
good. It was not cancer. He had a severe case of pneumonia that required surgery. His chances were slim. But the Lord pulled him out of the pit and healed him.
He had surgery and 3 tubes coming from his lungs as well as a ventilator and feeding tube. Things were rough going for a while but with prayer, my son pulled through. He will have quite some time for recovery and we don't know when he can get off oxygen, but we know that everything is in the Lord's hands. He's got this. (Thank you, Stacey{Starry}) You have been a blessing to me and a great help and friend. Thank you for keeping my focus on the Lord in this time of need.
Many health care workers are coming to our home, for his oxygen needs, blood work, and taking care of his IV. They are a constant comfort to us.
(UPDATE)
1. My son's IV is out. He is on oral antibiotics now. This is such a relief to all of us.
2. His oxygen is on a reduced level and he is taking it off now and then and learning to breathe more on his own.
3. The many many bags of fluid they gave him in the hospital (making his weight skyrocket) is finally leaving his body and his weight is almost back to normal.
4. His appetite is finally coming back, He had none for the longest time. He is however drinking one ensure a day to make sure he gets the nourishment he so badly needs.
So thank you all for your many, continued prayers for my son and for all of us. We are very appreciative and grateful. The Lord has heard and answered our prayers. Blessings to you all.
