In The Kitchen -Pumpkin Cake Recipe

It's fall and time for all the things you've been waiting for all year. One of which, is, pumpkin.
Pumpkin pie, cookies and cake. What a way to do Fall. This is one of the best pumpkin cakes, in my opinion. Let us know what you think.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups canned pumpkin
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 
Grease and flour a baking pan. 10 x 14

  • Sift together the flour, 
  • baking powder, 
  • baking soda, 
  • salt &
  • cinnamon. 

Set this aside

Next, In a large bowl combine sugar and oil. 
Blend in vanilla and pumpkin, 
beat in eggs.
Slowly beat in flour mixture.
Spread batter into prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
