Muffin Tin Dinner Rolls




 

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons oil (I use vegetable)
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast (you can also use Instant Yeast) 
  • 2 tablespoons  of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 to 3 cups flour (bread flour or all-purpose will work)

Method


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a bowl combine the warm milk, oil, yeast, and sugar. Stir slightly.  Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the egg. Mix flour and salt together and then stir into the yeast mixture. 
  4. Shape dough into 12 balls and place in muffin pans. Cover to rise the dough for 30-40 minutes
  5. Bake for 12 - 15 minutes or until tops are golden brown.
