1. Exercise releases chemicals like serotonin, which can improve your mood. It also improves your fitness, which can help lift your mood. Things like, Biking, Hiking, Swimming, Walking, Gardening, even housework.
2. Also, eating healthy can reduce stress and anxiety. Carbohydrates are thought to increase the amount of serotonin in your brain, which can have a calming effect. Eating foods rich in complex carbohydrates, such as, oatmeal, whole-grain breads and cereals. Foods like Fatty Fish. Beans and Lentils. Berries, Apples, Pears, Bananas, and Citrus Fruits, and Leafy Greens.
