Can you exercise with High Blood Pressure? Yes. Not only can you exercise with hypertension, safely, you should be exercising with High BP. Exercise on a regular basis helps to keep you healthy overall.

Need to drop your blood pressure? You can do so by up to 20 points by reducing your ideal body weight, if you are currently overweight. You can calculate it by determining your body mass index.

 While controlling your weight, you could consider these exercises.

Exercise lowers blood pressure by reducing blood vessel stiffness, so blood can flow easily. The effects of exercise are most noticeable during and immediately after a workout. Lowered blood pressure will have the most significant effects right after your work-out.
