 Looking  for a quick, and delicious dinner option, baked salmon is the perfect choice. Salmon is loaded with omega-3 fatty acids,and easy to prepare. This recipe is delicious. Let’s get into the ingredients and instructions for this salmon dish.

Ingredients

For the Salmon:
- 4 salmon fillets 

- 2 tablespoons olive /vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice  (bottled or fresh) Fresh is best
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (you can use jarred garlic as well)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 3/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 &1/2 teaspoon paprika (try smoked paprika for a smokey flavor)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sliced Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) you can also use dried as well.
 

  Vegetable Sides :
  • cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Green beans 
  • Fresh Salad
  • Roasted Potatoes
  • Sweet Potatoes


 

 

 Instructions

1. Preheat Oven:
   Preheat your oven to 375°F.

2. Prepare the Marinade:
   In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. Marinate:
   Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish, skin side down. Pour the marinade over the salmon, making sure all s well coated. Let it marinate for about 20 - 30 minutes


5. Bake:
   After marinating, place the baking dish in the preheated oven. If you're baking vegetables, put them in at the same time. Bake for about 15 -18 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

6. Serve:
  Serve the salmon on a platter along with a side of roasted vegetables.
