Bible Verses for Dad

How can we make our Father’s Day cards more special, more memorable? By choosing a Bible verse fit Father’s Day? We have been blessed with fathers, and this is a wonderful time to let them know how you feel about them.

A Father’s Integrity
“I know, my God,
that You examine our hearts
and rejoice when You find
integrity there.”
(1 Chronicles 29:17)

If you have been blessed with a father, filled with integrity, then you have been blessed.
A Father’s Courage
“Have I not commanded you?
Be strong and courageous.
Do not be terrified;
do not be discouraged,
for the LORD your God
will be with you
wherever you go.”
(Joshua 1:9, NIV)

for a Father’s Day affirmation of a strong, faith-filled father.
A Father’s Compassion
“Just as a father has compassion
on his children,
So the Lord has compassion
on those who fear Him.”
Psalm 103:13

A compassionate father is a wonderful gift.
A Father’s Wisdom
“I guide you
in the way of wisdom
and lead you along straight paths.
When you walk,
your steps will not be hampered;
when you run,
you will not stumble.
Hold on to instruction,
do not let it go;
guard it well,
for it is your life.”
Proverbs 4:11-13

What father of faith has not prayed for wisdom, discernment and clear thinking
A Father’s Love
“Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects,
always trusts,
always hopes,
always perseveres.
Love never fails.”
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
