It's time to wake up. Stop hitting snooze. The time is at hand.
What do I mean?
Romans 13: 11-14 speaks to us as Christians that it is high time to awake out of sleep, “for now our salvation is nearer than we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us, therefore, cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light
The Holy Spirit is calling His people to wake up. In Ephesians 5:14, the Apostle Paul wrote, “Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.
God is calling His people to live life fully awake. Unfortunately, many Christians still slumber away in a deep spiritual sleep. They have put off doing what God wants them to do and in so doing, they have paused their relationship with God. They are not advancing in their relationship with God. They are right where they were 2,5, or even 10 years ago. How sad.
Christians are sleeping right through God's plan for their life. Those plans are flying right by us, unnoticed.
Remember, Paul, charges us — ”Awake, you who sleep” (Ephesians 5:14
Remember that the Holy Spirit has already come to live in us, enduing us with power. We can do this. The day we are living in is so serious. so many Christians are just not getting it, Too many believers are slumbering and paying no attention to what is going on in the world; Too few are meeting the needs of the suffering and the lost.
Our Salvation is nearer than when we believed. Judgment is at hand. The night is far spent; the day is at hand.
It is well past the time that Christians should have begun to seek the Lord in earnest for the revival we need. In response to the call of our God, let Christians around the world confess that it is time that we come back to victorious living and evangelism.
