Sunday Dinner - Meatloaf-Mashed Potatoes - Green Beans -Salad
Ingredients Needed for This Meatloaf Recipe
- Ground beef – Make sure to use 85% lean ground beef because the higher fat percentage will give you more flavor.
- Eggs – Use eggs to help bind the meatloaf together.
- Bread Crumbs – Use Italian flavored bread crumbs for more flavor. Or (I use sourdough bread crumbs).
- Milk – A little milk moistens the breadcrumbs and makes your meatloaf nice and juicy.
- Seasonings – Salt, and pepper, and add garlic or garlic powder. This adds a lot of flavor.
- Onion – Use fresh onion chopped into small pieces.
- Ketchup/Tomato Sauce – This will be on top of the meatloaf to give it a lot of UMF. Add some brown sugar to the sauce for a lot of flavor.
- Brown sugar – The perfect sweetness to the ketchup/sauce
- Worcestershire sauce - Adds just the right touch of sweet and sour to the meat. Sour from vinegar, sweet from molasses and sugar
