Lower Sodium/Fat Reuben Sandwich Recipe

Sandwich Recipes
The Reuben sandwich is a hot sandwich of layered meat, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese, with a dressing. These are grilled between slices of pumpernickel or rye. The meat is either corned beef or pastrami, and the dressing is either Russian or Thousand Island dressing. This still has a good bit of sodium but not nearly as much as the original reuben. Only eat this occasionally and maybe only half a sandwich if on a low sodium diet or just trying to cut out a good bit of your sodium.

This is a very high sodium food normally. We're going to play down that sodium with this version of a Reuben.
