Easy Blackberry Cobbler Recipe
This blackberry cobbler recipe is a classic. A delicious recipe prepared in only minutes, and with minimal ingredients!
This will keep covered in the fridge for up to four days and can be reheated in the microwave on a low setting.
You can also make ahead, by preparing and store the filling and topping separately in the refrigerator, then assemble and bake when you are ready to serve it up. Serve warm with your favorite ice cream or whipped topping.
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups fresh or frozen blackberries (if they are frozen, make sure to drain them once they are thawed)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk

cup softened butter-slightly melted
Directions:
1- In a medium bowl, lightly mix together blackberries
and sugar. Let stand about 15–20 minutes, until you see some fruit syrup. Preheat
oven to 375°F.
2 -In a bowl, stir together flour, baking
powder, salt and milk. Stir in softened (melted) butter until all is blended. Spread in
ungreased 8-inch square pan. Spoon blackberry mixture over top of batter.
3 -Bake 45 to 55 minutes, dough should be risen and slightly browned.
